We all loved the concept of unified search and have hailed that feature greatly in Workday. That is the reason why we believed that SES would have been the answer we were looking for but for all those who have worked on it, it has been an extremely difficult tool to understand and manage. Hence I am excited to see that it will be phased out in PeopleTools 8.56 and will be replaced with ElasticSearch. I do not have any personal experience with the new search but reading about it online, as it is a standalone tool in the market, it looks very promising.
