I am glad to say that our team bagged another Innovator award from Oracle for helping a retail client through its Talent Management transformation journey. We are currently working on designing a “surface simple but internally complex” business process that provide a single threaded approach to career planning, performance management and succession planning within PeopleSoft. As part of this design we are extensively utilizing a lot of new feature offered by PeopleSoft such as Fluid Interface, Simplified Analytics and Configurable Analysis Framework (CAF). We are probably the first implementer of CAF on Human Capital Management. The CAF functionality will allow employees to compare different jobs within the organization. It will also allow them to compare themselves against the job. Employees will then be able to perform various actions right from the comparison to view detail job description, add job to interest or save comparison for later review.
